Hancock Chimney

I just wanted to say thanks again to the techs who came to my house & kept Santa's Magic alive! My 8 year old took the "torn piece of Santa's suit" to school as evidence.

Many thanks for taking the time to come back and check the chimney.

Thank you for going out of your way to help me find the best solution to my leaky chimney.
I truly appreciate your return calls.

I'm very satisfied with the work done.  I'll be recommending you to others!

The technicians were very informative and friendly.  I learned a lot and will have you back out to do the necessary repairs.  Thanks again!

The quality of the air you breathe in your home is important, and we take it seriously. Our technicians have extensive knowledge about the entire venting system in your house, and we have the expertise to detect and resolve a full range of drafting issues.

Raccoon in chimney/Animal removalAnimal Removal

If squirrels, raccoons, birds, or other pests have made a home in your chimney or duct, we’ll eliminate the problem by removing the animals and their nesting materials, and preventing future infestation.

Replace Chase Tops

Leaky or damaged chase tops are potential hazards on prefabricated metal fireplaces.  The water leaks down into the chimney system and rusts the smoke chamber and firebox. We help eliminate problems by replacing leaking and rusty metal chase tops.  Pictures show the chimney top that was rusting and leaking and a new chase top with overhanging drip edge.

 Chimney Fire Repair

Chimney Fire

We can document any damage caused by your chimney fire, using a specially-designed video recording camera system that views the inside of the flue. We can provide a video tape recording and written report for your records and insurance company.  We can then recommend and estimate the most appropriate repair for your chimney.

Chimney Liner Systems
We install chimney liner systems, backed by a U.L. listing and installed to the National Fire Protection Association 211 code.  We match the best liner system to your chimney venting requirements and application, according to manufacturers’ instructions.

Glazed Creosote Removal

Glazed creosote is the worst type of creosote because it is highly flamable and almost impossible to remove with conventional cleaning methods. We offer mechanical and chemical removal methods when this condition is found.

Power washing a chimney

Pressure Washing
We will pressure wash the bricks on the exterior of the chimney, removing any dirt, moss, or plant buildup.  It can greatly improve the look of your chimney!  We recommend Waterproofing the bricks after Pressure Washing to protect the chimney from repeat accumulations and unsightly discoloration.

Dryer Vent Sweepingclogged dryer vent safety hazard

Dryer vent cleaning improves the safety and efficiency of your dryer system.  Dryer vents are routinely blocked with lint, but can also become blocked with birds nests.  These blockages can lead to fires in both the dryer and the dryer duct.  Another danger caused by blockages in gas dryers is the possibility of carbon monoxide seepage into the home.  We clean out the dryer vent system with specialized tools to ensure that it is venting safely and effectively.
